Aerial Photography Tells a Story of Economic Inequality

Jeffrey Milstein takes aerial photos of Los Angeles neighborhoods that tell 1000 words, or more, about the socio-economics of the residents who live in those neighborhoods.

The picture below shows one LA neighborhood — can you discern whether it’s one of LA’s wealthier neighborhoods, a middle-class neighborhood, or a working-class neighborhood?
