The Economic Advantage of a County

In today’s issue of The New York Times, there’s an infographic attaching added value (or added de-value) to growing up in particular counties.

FYI: a child growing up poor in Atlantic County, NJ has -$4,310 value; in fact, according to the Times, Atlantic County is one of the worst in the US for economic mobility of poor children.
