Economic Inequality Begins with Education Inequality

Charlie Harper, a columnist for an Atlanta media, argues that there is at least one cause for economic inequality — education inequality. He criticizes Georgia schools that approach teaching “some” students as if they are not capable of learning. That, he insists, is a disgrace.

“Education is the first and most fundamental building block to a person’s income equality. If we’re truly concerned about the growing discrepancy between the have’s and the have nots, we need to make sure every child that enters a Georgia school comes out with the knowledge that enables them to have.”
